With a video on social media and a page on the official website, LEGO has announced the arrival of new Donkey Kong sets, which will be part of the popular Super Mario theme.
At the moment the Donkey Kong sub-theme page on the LEGO site still looks pretty bare, but we expect more information on the new sets to arrive in the coming weeks.
For some years the launch of many new LEGO Super Mario sets has been done in August, and the same period is plausible this year too.
Donkey Kong is a long-standing and beloved franchise in the world of video games. The franchise began in 1981 with the release of the original Donkey Kong arcade game, which introduced players to the titular character and his nemesis, Mario.
