What is LEGO Insiders?
LEGO Insiders is a new loyalty program by the LEGO Group designed to spotlight true LEGO fans! Previously known as LEGO VIP, Insiders evolves accounts into one place for members 18+, creating a special community to share passion and receive exclusive perks.

How to create or update your LEGO Insiders account
If you’re a VIP member, you won’t need to do anything special. You’ll transfer automatically with benefits already loved. This means earning and using points for fantastic rewards can continue as usual.
Your previously collected VIP points naturally remain valid for use in the new program.
If new to this exciting community, signing up is simple! Follow a few steps to build your account and start earning points right away. Remember, signin up it’s totally free!
How to earn LEGO Insiders Points
Earning points is as fun as building with bricks! Several methods allow points: let’s review them all!
Shop on LEGO.com
The main way to quickly earn points is purchases on the official LEGO.com shop.
Remember to log in each time you make a purchase to accumulate points!
Points depend on currency! The reference is the Danish Krone: 1 Danish Krone (DKK) equals 1 point. This translates to about 1 Euro = 7.5 Points.
For example, the Walt Disney Tribute Camera set cost 99.99€, earns 750 points as shown.
Double Points
During certain specific periods of the year, LEGO may release special promotions that allow you to earn double points! These promotions can be active on the entire catalog (such as during the Black Friday period), on a specific theme (such as during Star Wars Day), or only on selected sets.

Register your sets
One of the main features of Insiders is the ability to register your sets and earn points.
This is possible for all sets produced from 2018 onwards, which feature a QR code on the instruction booklet cover, regardless of where they were purchased. Finally, it is now possible to earn points even when purchasing from your favorite retailers.
The steps to register a set are simple:
- With your smartphone, scan the QR code found on the set’s instruction booklet cover.
- Follow the steps to register your set and earn points.
- Earn 20 points for each registered set.
Each QR code is unique and can only be registered once. Additionally, it is not possible to add multiple copies of the same set to your LEGO Insiders account. For further information about set registration, please visit the official FAQ page.
Activities
Extra points can also come from activities like surveys or social network actions.
How to redeem LEGO Insiders Points
Points can be redeemed for exclusive rewards in the Rewards Center. Here’s how:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the Rewards Center by clicking here.
- Take a look at the available rewards, which may include special discounts, exclusive sets, or accessories.
- Once you find the reward you want to claim, simply click on the “Redeem” button. Your points will be automatically deducted, and you will receive your reward in the form of promotional codes or discount codes (we will explain the differences in the next paragraphs).
Please note that any discount code or promotional code must be used within 60 days from the date you redeemed it.
Also, keep in mind that the availability of some rewards may be limited. Additionally, rewards are subject to change, so make sure to regularly check the Rewards Center for updates.
Discount Codes
LEGO Insiders Discount Codes allow you to save on your next purchase with the following mechanism:
We have already learned that 1€ spent = 7.5 Points earned. The next step to understand is that with 750 Points (or multiples), you can redeem a 5€ Discount Code.
This means, more or less, that through this program, you can normally earn a 5% cashback, which you can use through Discount Codes on a future purchase.
Sometimes Double Points can be active, on every purchase or on selected items, so this benefit doubles! It’s like getting a 10% cashback! You can check if Double VIP Points are active on the promotions page.
Discount codes are often the best way to save on exclusive LEGO sets, which can only be purchased on LEGO.com and would otherwise be difficult to find on sale.
One thing you should know is that it is possible to add more than one discount code to an order as long as the total discounted amount is less than the subtotal.
Promotional Codes
LEGO Insiders promotional codes can be redeemed to unlock exclusive LEGO sets or accessories that are usually not available elsewhere.
Sometimes, these types of products are highly sought after by collectors and can sell out quickly. Click here to check all the currently available LEGO Insiders rewards.
Please note: Unlike Discount Codes, you cannot use multiple Promotional Codes in a single order. This means that if you have redeemed multiple promotional codes, you can only use them in separate orders within 60 days!
Additional Benefits for LEGO Insiders
